Mr. Yury Khromeev Family of 1:
Mr. Yuri Khromeev is in his early 50s. He is an engineer and lives alone in the 1 bedroom apartment located on the 6th floor of the "soviet" style multistory building (elevator is available). Yuri does not speak English, just basic vocabulary. He does not smoke, loves reading, traveling and conversation. It takes about 30-40 min to get to the city center (~ 17km/10mi) by public transportation. For commuting you can use subway, trams, trolleys, buses, which are frequent and reliable.
Egorov Family of 2:
Ms. Tatiana Egorova (late 40s) and her mother (later 60s). Tatiana's mother lives in the apartment only in the winter. In the summer she stays at the her summer house in the country. Tatiana will be your contact. She is an English language teacher at the local school. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. It is located on the 3rd floor of the historical building (19th century) ideally located right in the heart of St. Petersburg next to St. Paul Fortress and just minutes away from Hermitage museum and Nevsky Avenue. Tatiana does not smoke. She has a cat and likes to read and travel. For commuting you can use subway (closest stop is "Prospekt Prosveshenia"), tram or trolley from the nearby bus stop (5 min walk).
Kushmelevi Family of 2:
Mrs/Mr. Natalia and Yuri Kushmelevi are in their midst 60s. Both are retired. Natalia is a former engineer. Her husband Yuri speaks good English. Their 3 bedroom apartment is a part of the historical 2 story building (recently renovated) built at the end of the 18th century. It is located right in the heart of the historical St. Petersburg on Moika River right across from the famous Yusupov Palace, within 5 min walk from St. Isaac's Cathedral on Nevsky Prospekt and only 15 min walk from the Hermitage Museum. There are no smokers in the house. Hosts have a dog (pekinese).
