Travel Services \ Visas \ Russian Visas
If you are not a citizen of the Russian Federation or of a select number of the countries of the former USSR, you are required to obtain the visa. There are several types of visas, the most popular of which are tourist and business.
Unless you have specific circumstances requiring otherwise, we suggest entering Russia on a standard tourist visa. Such visas are generally good for up to 30 days and one (standard) or two (by request) entries within that period. Business visas offer longer stays and more flexibility (multiple entries), but are consequently more expensive and can entail complex registration procedures. If you are not sure which type of visa is most suited to your stay/travel in Russia, a Sokol travel consultant will be happy to discuss the options with you.
Sokol Tours is prepared to deliver you a Complete Visa (within USA and Canada) or Visa Support only (often also called Voucher or Invitation letter), which you will need to submit to the closest Russian Embassy/Consulate in your home country for Visa processing.
