Rail Tailored trips: Classic Trans-Siberian (3 stops)

Traveling by public trains is fun. You can travel any time. You have a decent choice to meet your budget and comfort preferences. You will meet real people, socialize, experience culture first hand. Public trains, wagons & cabins vary in classes, service quality and cost. NOTE that the prices you see on your left are for travel by "express" trains in cabins with standard services (no meals). If you wish to travel in different class or make more stops, please inquire.

This trip is a true classic train adventure with stops in Moscow, Irkutsk and Vladivostok. It highlights 3 major geographical and cultural parts of Russia: European Russia, Siberia, and the Russian Far East. We recommend to stay at least 2 nights in Moscow and 1 night in Vladivostok. There is plenty to do in both cities. Check Diamond Fund of Russia in Moscow, Moscow Circus, Bolshoi Theater, Tretyakov Gallery, take a day tour into the country to see Russias Golden Ring towns, or take a speed train to St. Petersburg for a day or two. In Vladivostok, make sure to visit the Golden Horn Bay to see the Pacific Fleet of Russia or take a day trip to see Siberian Tiger refuge. The stop at Irkutsk city will give you a break from a long train ride, but most important, it will show you that Siberia is not just about cold and exile. Irkutsk city is one of the oldest cities in Siberia with great history and cultural presence. And of course, the Lake Baikal!!! We recommend staying at least 2 nights here. The closest lake point from the city is Listvyanka village (70km). Spending a night in Listvyanka is a great way to experience the Lake and Siberia's countryside. Stay in cute B&B or hotels.
